Sourcewell recently awarded contracts for “Public Utility Equipment with Related Accessories and Supplies” through solicitation #012418. Sourcewell contracts are solicited across North America and competitively awarded on behalf of Sourcewell current and potential government and education member agencies.
No matter the entity – a city, county, water district, school, or campus – members are sure to find what they need to complete their utility work.
Utility work entails a wide variety of jobs, taking your crew from treetops to trenches. Get the equipment, accessories, and supplies your public works and utility departments need to work way up high, dig down low, and everything in between through Sourcewell (formerly NJPA).
The national cooperative purchasing organization is pleased to announce it awarded contracts to seven vendors who offer aerial lifts, bucket trucks, digger derricks, chippers, excavators, horizontal directional drills, trenchers, by-pass and dewatering pumps, and more.
“Through these contracts, Sourcewell members can purchase the equipment, accessories, and supplies they need to clean up after a storm, lift loads, install/repair above-ground utility lines, directionally drill public utility infrastructure, or any combination of these tasks,” said Andy Campbell, Sourcewell contract administration supervisor. “No matter the entity – a city, county, water district, school, or campus – members are sure to find what they need to complete their utility work.”
Sourcewell awarded the contracts following a nationwide competitive solicitation. Purchasing off a contract streamlines the procurement process for public entities resulting in a savings of time and money.
Effective as of March 14, 2018, the contracts are available to all Sourcewell members throughout the US and Canada.
