Six vendors named to Portable Construction Equipment category

From mud tubs to mixers, and grinders to ground heaters, there's a contract for what you need when you're on the go.

Six vendors have earned contracts in the Portable Construction Equipment category, adding to Sourcewell's diverse line of options and solutions.

Sourcewell Contract Administrator Kelly McAllister says this category was designed to provide members with light construction equipment including portable air compressors, light towers, generators, scissor lifts, light compaction, and pumps under 30 horsepower.

“These contracts provide our members equipment for road projects, facility maintenance, or emergency backup,” McAllister says. “The contracts are designed to meet the needs of government agencies and municipalities in the U.S. and Canada, including states, provinces, counties, and cities.”

Sourcewell (formerly NJPA), a cooperative purchasing organization, awarded these contracts following a competitive solicitation process:

Atlas Copco Technique North America – Portable air compressors, portable generators, portable light towers, dewatering pumps, electric submersible pumps, centrifugal diesel driven pumps, hand-held breakers (pneumatic/hydraulic).

Clark Equipment/Doosan Portable Power – Generators, light towers, air compressors, global construction equipment, rental equipment, landscaping equipment, light compaction equipment, agriculture equipment, grounds maintenance equipment, utility equipment.

Multiquip Inc. – Rammers and plate compactors, drum rollers, generators, welders, dewatering pumps, water trailers, concrete mixers and vibrators, concrete trowels and screeds, saws, light towers, GloBug diffused lighting, Mud Tubs and power buggies.

Genie, a Terex Brand – Aerial devices, telescopic lifts, articulated and trailer-mounted booms, scissor lifts, material lifts and personal lifts, telehandlers and light towers, cranes, industrial chippers, grinders, trommels, and shredders, Windrow turner.

Generac Mobile Products – Generators (mobile, diesel, gaseous, portable), light towers (LED, metal halide, diffused), dewatering pumps, trash pumps, hydronic ground heaters, flameless heaters, indirect heaters, dust suppression systems, water trailers, combo water, power, and light units, portable generators, pressure washers.

Wacker Neuson – Rammers, vibratory plate compactors, rollers, pumps, generators, light towers, concrete walk-behind trowels, concrete ride-on trowels, concrete vibrators, trench rollers, battery powered rammer, battery powered plate.

Effective June 17, 2019, these contracts are available to all Sourcewell members throughout the United States and Canada. Purchasers from public entities save time and money by streamlining the procurement process with cooperative purchasing.
