Helping YMCAs save time and money through cooperative purchasing

STAPLES, Minn. – YMCAs provide essential programs that support healthy, thriving communities – from wellness initiatives to child care to community outreach. Managing procurement needs alongside daily operations can be overwhelming, especially with limited time and staff.

To help address these challenges, YPurchasing and Sourcewell have partnered to raise awareness of cooperative purchasing, expanding access to solutions that reduce administrative burden, save money, and make procurement easier for YMCA staff nationwide.

YPurchasing members that participate in Sourcewell’s cooperative purchasing program gain access to competitively awarded contracts for grounds maintenance, camp equipment, construction equipment, vehicles, fleet solutions, sports lighting, and more. Many YMCA organizations across the country already use these contracts to streamline the purchasing process.
