IT Service Management Available to Government Agencies Through NJPA

Summary

NJPA recently awarded contracts in the “Managed Service Provider (MSP) for Information Technology and IT Staff Augmentation,” category through solicitation #020817. NJPA contracts are solicited across North America and competitively awarded on behalf of NJPA current and potential government and education member agencies.

STAPLES, Minn. (12 April 2017) -- Government, education, and nonprofit organizations in need of mid- to short-term IT services now have access to two exceptional managed service provider vendors through National Joint Powers Alliance® contracts.

NJPA recently awarded contracts to Computer Aid, Inc., and Acro Service Corp., in the category of “Managed Service Provider (MSP) for Information Technology and IT Staff Augmentation,” giving NJPA members throughout the U.S., and Canada access to high-quality technology support and services. NJPA awarded the contracts following a competitive solicitation process.

Some examples in which an organization would use MSP include IT needs consulting, server integration, data migration, or application development. Services are typically project-based and have a defined timeline to fit the project, ranging from a couple of weeks to several months.

“NJPA members from organizations large and small voiced the need for temporary I.T. services and support,” said NJPA Contract Administrator Tom Morgan. “Computer Aid and Acro are some of the best in the industry and NJPA is proud to provide its members with expert support in an area as essential as IT.”

Effective as of March 3, 2017, the contracts will streamline the service acquisition process, saving NJPA members time and money.
