Last Chance to Register for R5 Summit
Free, one-day event for Region 5 leaders
STAPLES, Minn. (October 15, 2018) -- Join local leaders at the sixth annual R5 Summit, Wednesday, October 27 at Sourcewell in Staples. The goal of this mini, one-day conference is to serve Region 5 communities by providing professional development and educational opportunities.
Deadline to register for this year's event is Wednesday, October 17th. The Summit is FREE for Region 5 Members, and each entity that attends the R5 Summit will receive a $250 rebate credit on account at Sourcewell. This rebate may be used toward Sourcewell services or to purchase products/equipment. Unused credits are issued in the form of a check at the end of the fiscal year.
Joe Schmit—KSTP-TV sports anchor, author, community leader, and this year's keynote speaker—will discuss, Silent Impact: Influence Through Purpose, Persistence and Passion focused on inspiring and teaching leaders how to ramp up the profound power of influence.
The day also includes a variety of breakout sessions on topics in education and community leadership, including updates from the State Capitol, 5-minute Speed Sessions, and a networking lunch.
