July 24, 2019 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.	Assessment to Support Teaching and Learning	For teachers, assessment coordinators, and school administrators: Join Dr. Michael Rodriguez for a day designed to build assessment and data literacy to support the goal of developing a culture of evidence. Dr. Rodriguez will suggest methods that teachers, administrators, and specialists can use to improve the use of large-scale test information for planning and evaluation. Formative assessment practices to promote teaching and learning will also be addressed. State testing update will be provided by a representative from the Minnesota Department of Education. Registration is now closed.
July 31, 2019 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.	Local Government Supervisor Workshop	For city and county employees: While onboarding new staff is often seen as a burden, it can set your department on the right path when done correctly. Join us as we take an in-depth look at how to help newly hired staff become a part of the team. Free for agencies in Region 5. Lunch included. Registration is now closed.
