March 6, 2019 3:30 p.m.	Winter Webinar: Formative Assessment with Digital Tools	This one-hour webinar explores technology tools to quickly gather information and track student progress. Included will be fresh ideas for using Google Forms, including advanced Google Forms Quiz tools and add-ons. Registration is now closed.
March 7, 2019	Region 5 Science Fair	Held in collaboration with Region 5 science teachers, this event is a chance to increase students' awareness and enjoyment of science, as well as acquire a better understanding of the scientific process through independent learning.
March 12, 2019 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.	MDE Training: Developing a Shared Understanding of the 2018 Academic Standards and Benchmarks in Physical Education	For K-12 educators: In this workshop, actions and resources are recommended to help educator teams develop a shared understanding of the standards and benchmarks and initiate the curriculum review process. March 14, 2019 9 - 11 a.m.	Economic Development Series	Designed for city or county employees: What is economic development and how does it affect me? Join us for the first session in this three-part series where we will focus on helping elected officials, staff, and community leaders better understand economic development, including how to utilize existing resources and bolster the local economy through workforce development programs. March 19, 2019 11:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. Brainerd Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce	Lunch and Learn: Nonprofit Boards as Systems: Creating the Conditions for Great Board Performance	Bring your own lunch to learn, network, and share ideas with colleagues at these free professional development events.
