Bridging Divides: What to do when people disagreeAngry constituents? Hot topics like ‘buffer strips’ or ‘police-community relations’? Are fellow board members feeling passionate about issues? Compromise isn't the only option. In this workshop, learn what to do when emotions run high and positions are deeply held, plus how to de-escalate difficult situations and move from confrontation and conflict to effective solutions. Leadercast - “Lead Yourself”Join local leaders and aspiring leaders for the world's largest one-day leadership conference, broadcast live from Atlanta. Eight keynote speakers will help attendees discover the qualities and characteristics of global leaders who exemplify what it means to lead yourself so you can be the best leader of others. NJPA's doors open at 7:15 a.m., with the simulcast set to begin at 8 a.m., sharp. Cost is $50 (includes light breakfast and lunch). Visit for more information/registration.

Staples Centennial Auditorium Lobby

Browse the artwork of Region 5 students grades 4-12. The show includes paintings, drawings, crafts, mixed media, digital art, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and pottery/ceramics. Admission is FREE and open to the public from 6-9 p.m. Staples-Motley High School's symphony orchestra and concert band and choir present their Finale Concert in the Auditorium that evening at 7 p.m.
