Looking back at summer 2018

Whoever said educators take the summer off has never been at Sourcewell during June, July, and August.

Throughout the summer, educators were devoted to professional development in a variety of areas from GiANT. Leadership Training to New Teachers Academy. Educators also attended the Minnesota Summit for Learning and Leading in August, a two-day conference at Madden’s on Gull Lake, where K-12 educators were able to connect with Robert Marzano-trained experts and learn more about implementation and sustainability of Marzano’s framework for High Reliability Schools. We are proud to continually reinvest in our community by providing professional development opportunities.

About Sourcewell

Sourcewell (formerly National Joint Powers Alliance) is a self-supporting government organization, partnering with education, government, and nonprofits to boost student and community success. Created in 1978 as one of Minnesota’s nine service cooperatives, we offer training and shared services to our central-Minnesota members. Throughout North America, we offer a cooperative purchasing program with over 300 awarded vendors on contract. Sourcewell is driven by service and the ability to strategically reinvest in member communities.
