Educator celebration goes virtual
More than 60 educators from across the area will be honored and celebrated for their dedication, professionalism, and leadership at the 2020 Educators of Excellence Facebook Live event - Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Those to be recognized include teachers, paraprofessionals, coaches, leaders, and educational teams from 18 school districts, two education districts, and one charter school.
The public is invited to view the Facebook Live event starting at 5:30 p.m. Simply locate the Premiere box titled ‘Educators of Excellence – 2020 Virtual Celebration’ on Sourcewell's Facebook page; then, sit back and enjoy the celebration. A recording of the complete event will also be shared the following day at sourcewell-mn.gov, and available on Facebook.

Each year, Sourcewell celebrates the innovative work of educators who make a difference. Through the Educators of Excellence Awards, we honor an educator from each school in Sourcewell's area of service who has exemplified dedication, professionalism, and leadership for the benefit of students. Additionally - through the same nomination process - one team, one leader, one coach, and two paraprofessionals are also selected and honored.
