Members Sure to Score with New Sourcewell Category

Two vendors named to Video Display and Scoring Solutions

Kelly Pearson, Sourcewell Contract Administrator
These vendors now give us the ability to provide electronic display solutions, from the largest university sports venue and video walls in public settings, to airports and more. Yet, they provide solutions to members with smaller needs.

Shout your news from the mountaintops, or at least from an electronic sign, with the help of a new equipment category and two new contracts at Sourcewell.

A Video Displays and Scoring Solutions category adds to Sourcewell's already diverse line of options and solutions. In addition to digital displays, video screens, scoreboards, message centers, marquees, and other electronic signs and displays, members have access to software, audio systems, and installation.

Sourcewell Contract Administrator Kelly Pearson says the addition of this category was driven by member input.

“These vendors now give us the ability to provide electronic display solutions,” Pearson says, “from the largest university sports venue and video walls in public settings, to airports and more. Yet, they provide solutions to members with smaller needs.”

Sourcewell (formerly NJPA), a cooperative purchasing organization, awarded these contracts following a competitive solicitation process

Daktronics - Scoreboards, digital displays, video boards, marquee signs, message centers.

Nevco - LED displays, scorer's tables, stadium sound systems, message boards, Jumbotrons, scoreboards, video displays, marquee signs.

Effective July 8, 2019, these contracts are available to all Sourcewell members throughout the United States and Canada. Purchasers from public entities save time and money by streamlining the procurement process with cooperative purchasing.
