Nathe and Lund Hired at NJPA

National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Becca Nathe and Kevin Lund. Both joined NJPA in July 2017.

Nathe joined NJPA as the legal assistant in the Legal/ Government Relations Department. Some of her responsibilities include drafting legal documents, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining filing systems. She has a keen understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and data practices.

Nathe graduated from the Legal Administrative Assistant program at Minneapolis Business College and has worked as a legal assistant since 2007. Her background includes areas of law in criminal, family, civil, personal injury, Social Security, and Workers' Compensation. Most recently, Nathe at a law firm in Baxter. She resides in the Pequot Lakes area with her husband and daughter.

Lund was brought on as Consultant of the Blind and Visually Impaired/Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist. Lund works with school districts throughout Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena counties. His primary responsibilities are to provide visually impaired students with the skills needed to travel independently and safely and to provide specialized instruction and services required to meet the unique educational needs of students with visual impairments.

Prior to working at NJPA, Lund worked for a special education cooperative in northern Minnesota for 18 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota in Elementary Education/Visual Impairment and his Master of Science degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Special Education/Orientation and Mobility. He and his wife, Kristen, live in Park Rapids with their two children.
