NJPA Adds Forklift Category, Awards Contracts to Four Vendors

Summary

NJPA recently awarded contracts in the “Forklifts, Lift Trucks, and Related Material Handling Equipment, Attachments, Accessories, and Services,” category through solicitation #101816. NJPA contracts are solicited across North America and are competitively awarded on behalf of NJPA current and potential government and education member agencies.

STAPLES, Minn. (16 January 2017) -- National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) announces Doosan Industrial Vehicle America Corp., Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, Inc., Manitou Americas, Inc., and Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America, Inc., as its most recent contract awardees in the category of “Forklifts, Lift Trucks, and Related Material Handling Equipment, Attachments, Accessories, and Services.”

The creation of the category was driven by member request.

“NJPA is very excited to award contracts that will provide our members with a wide variety of high-quality forklifts and material-handling equipment,” said Contract Administrator Maureen Knight, JD. “We competitively solicited this category based on our members expressing interest in purchasing forklifts through an NJPA contract. This is a prime example of how NJPA listens to our members and works to meet their needs.”

Effective as of December 15, 2016, the contracts are available to NJPA members throughout the US and Canada. The contracts also streamline the purchasing and service acquisition processes, saving members time and money.
