STAPLES, Minn. (9 January 2016) -- National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) recently awarded contracts to thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas and Schindler Elevator Corporation in its “Elevator Equipment & Services” category. The contracts were effective as of November 2, 2016, and are available to NJPA members throughout the US and Canada.

The vendors were selected following a competitive solicitation process.

NJPA Contract Administrator Corey Jensen says the contracts offer a variety of new installation and modernization opportunities, as well as maintenance and repair solutions, to better fit the needs of NJPA members.

“We are excited to announce contracts with two of the leaders in the vertical transportation industry,” Jensen said. “We are able to continue our relationship with thyssenkrupp Elevator, and offer members an additional choice with the new award to Schindler Elevator Corporation. These contracts give our members access to a comprehensive selection of products and services to meet their elevator and escalator needs.”

The contracts also streamline the purchasing and service acquisition processes, saving members time and money.
