NJPA Signs on as CASBO Strategic Alliance Partner

STAPLES, Minn. (23 February 2017) -- National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) is pleased to announce it has become a Strategic Alliance Partner of the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO), the premier professional development and business best practices resource for the state's K-14 educational leaders.

With the partnership, NJPA commits to CASBO's mission of helping school business leaders grow, collaborate, and stay up-to-date on current school news and trends. NJPA will present at CASBO's annual spring conference, on April 14, 2017, at the Long Beach Entertainment & Convention Center. As a vetted partner, NJPA also has the opportunity to provide leadership for the CASBO community via webinars and business best practices.

“CASBO is pleased to partner with NJPA,” CASBO Deputy Executive Director Tatia Davenport said. “CASBO consistently focuses on improving value for our members and adding NJPA to our partnership program does just that.”

NJPA Director of Cooperative Contracts and Procurement Jeremy Schwartz says the partnership is greatly beneficial to both parties.

“The CASBO/NJPA partnership is a formal endorsement of the NJPA competitive solicitation and contract award process,” Schwartz said. “It also provides an effective and fully supported pathway for CASBO members to access procurement solutions through NJPA's contract awarded vendors.”

CASBO serves nearly 5,000 members and approximately 500 California school districts in every facet of school business management and operations within California public school and community college districts and county offices of education by providing certifications and training, promoting business best practices, and creating opportunities for professional collaboration.

For more information about the partnership, please contact NJPA's Jeremy Schwartz (jeremy.schwartz@njpacoop.org), or CASBO's Tatia Davenport (tdavenport@casbo.org).
