STAPLES, Minn. (19 April 2017) -- In an effort to continue to provide the best possible service to its members in the fleet industry, National Joint Powers Alliance® has signed on as an official partner of FleetPros, a nonprofit association that supports fleet management professionals.

“We see FleetPros as an organization that mirrors our commitment to service, innovation, and continuous improvement,” said NJPA Contract Administrator Scott Carr. “With its national tradeshow, Fleetcon, quarterly chapter meetings, and educational programs, it is very effective in providing valuable tools to current and next-generation fleet professionals.”

FleetPros supports industry professionals through education, professional development, and networking. It promotes open exchanges of information on experiences, ideas, and methods, and keeps its members updated on legislation and environmental matters. The association has been in operation since 1976 and currently has five chapters (Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, and Utah).

“The FleetPros Board of Directors is very pleased to have a partner such as NJPA,” said Wayne Corum, Chairman of the Board. “Its commitment and service to the fleet industry is a natural fit for our association. We look forward to working with Scott Carr and NJPA in serving and growing our membership.”

With the partnership, Carr will serve on the Associate Committee of FleetPros' National Board. NJPA will also provide support for the association's training and mentorship programs, guest speaker grants, membership fee grants, and Fleetcon's education sessions and awards ceremony.
