Sourcewell awards contracts in ‘Body Armor with Related Accessories, Equipment, and Services’ through solicitation #011221. Sourcewell contracts are solicited across North America and competitively awarded on behalf of Sourcewell current and potential government and education participating agencies.

Five contracts awarded in body armor

Five new Sourcewell suppliers have first responders covered, providing a variety of equipment and safety services for EMS and fire personnel, as well as law enforcement and their K-9 partners.

ADS, Inc.; Galls; HighCom Armor; NP Aerospace; and U.S. Armor have been awarded contracts in the Body Armor with Related Accessories, Equipment, and Services category, making their products and services available through cooperative purchasing at Sourcewell.

These contracts offer public agencies access to concealable, overt, and tactical vests; armor plates, inserts, and carriers; bomb- or blast-resistant suits; K-9 protective gear; shields, helmets, holsters, and other protective armor and accessories; and related services for training, fitting, and maintenance.

“As we continue to enhance our offerings in public safety, we are pleased to have these body armor suppliers come on board with us,” says Sourcewell Supplier Development Administrator Darin Narlock. “With an ever-increasing demand for body armor by participating agencies, these contracts ensure public safety professionals have access to the equipment they need.”

Operational equipment, procurement and logistics support, program management, kitted solutions, and contract navigation for tactical, medical, and public safety.

Galls | 011221-GAL
Ballistics, carriers, helmets, accessories, pouches, bags, K-9 gear, shields, blankets, undervest shirts and vest covers, active shooter kits, and plates, panels, and packs.

HighCom Armor | 011221-HCM
NIJ 0101.06 and NIJ 0106.01; level III and IV hard armor plates; rifle special threat armor; ACH PASGT ballistic helmets; level III ballistic shields; level IIIA soft armor; concealable, overt, tactical K-9, and plate carriers; rifle armor kits; military and law enforcement gear; NIJ ballistic body armor; and gear and accessories.

NP Aerospace | 011221-NPA
Body and rifle special threat armor; ballistic inserts, helmets, and shields; bomb disposal suits and accessories; NIJ level III and IV hard armor; military and law enforcement gear; NIJ bomb suits; concealable armor plates; and tactical gear and accessories.

U.S. Armor | 011221-URM
Fire department ballistics; riot gear; correctional, body, and tactical armor; ballistic shields, helmets, and blankets; outer carriers; rifle plates; custom fit; NIJ 0101.06 certified.
