Sourcewell Builds Upon Construction Equipment Offerings

Six vendors named to Medium Duty and Compact Construction Equipment category

You don't need to move mountains when faced with earthmoving projects, thanks to new construction equipment contracts through Sourcewell.

Six vendors have earned contracts in the Medium Duty and Compact Construction Equipment with Related Attachments, Accessories, and Supplies category, adding to Sourcewell's diverse line of options and solutions.

Sourcewell Contract Administrator Scott Carr says four of the six vendors are re-awarded in this category, while two are newcomers. And all, he assures, provide top-notch service and solutions to those looking for anything from site-prep equipment to excavators and skid steers.

“We are fortunate to have a great class of awarded vendors to bring value to our members,” Carr says. “The quality of options each vendor brings will serve our members' unique needs very well.”

Sourcewell (formerly NJPA), a cooperative purchasing organization, awarded these contracts following a competitive solicitation process:

Clark-Bobcat Company - Compact loaders and mini-track loaders, agriculture, landscaping and utility equipment, skid steers, compact track loaders, excavators, utility vehicles, utility work machines (Toolcat™ 5600 and 5610), telehandlers, attachments and implements, construction equipment, grounds maintenance equipment, rental equipment

Gradall Industries - Telescopic boom excavators, highway speed excavators, 20t, 25t, and 30t rough terrain wheeled excavators, crawler excavators, railroad undercarriages and attachments, buckets, shears, grapples, mowers

Hyundai - Construction equipment, earthmoving equipment, material handling equipment, snow removal equipment, landscaping equipment, utility equipment, feedlot loaders, crawler excavators, wheel loaders, compact excavators, compaction and vibratory rollers, hydraulic breaker-hammers

JCB - Medium/compact construction equipment, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, compact and mini excavators, wheeled excavators, site dumpers, telescopic handlers, telescopic skid steers, rough terrain forklifts, Teletruk forklifts, scissor lifts

Kubota - Compact and utility-class construction equipment, tractors, implements, hay tools, spreaders, lawn and garden equipment, commercial turf products, utility vehicles (UTVs)

Wacker Neuson - Skid steers, track loaders, mini excavators, wheeled excavators, articulated wheel loaders, telescopic wheel loaders, all wheel steer wheel loaders, telehandlers, wheel dumpers, track dumpers, dual view dumpers, soil compactors

Effective May 13, 2019, these contracts are available to all Sourcewell members throughout the United States and Canada. Purchasers from public entities save time and money by streamlining the procurement process with cooperative purchasing.
