Sourcewell Recognized Nationally for Workplace Culture Excellence
Results from an all-staff survey place the organization among top U.S. workplaces
Employees at Sourcewell report feeling highly appreciated, supported in their wellbeing, and empowered to grow, placing the organization among top workplaces nationally.
The recognition comes from a 2025 all-staff survey conducted by Energage, an independent research firm that benchmarks employee engagement across the country. Based on those results, Sourcewell earned Top Workplaces Culture Excellence Awards in three categories: Employee Appreciation, Employee Wellbeing, and Professional Development.
The Culture Excellence Awards highlight organizations where employees consistently express strong levels of satisfaction in specific areas of workplace culture. Sourcewell’s results place it alongside national leaders in creating meaningful, people-centered work environments and builds on Sourcewell’s inclusion in the 2025 USA Today Top Workplaces list, as well as the Star Tribune’s Top Workplaces in Minnesota.
Sourcewell CEO Dr. Chad Coauette says the recognition provides valuable feedback that helps the organization understand what’s working and where to improve. It informs decisions, strengthens culture, and supports a better employee experience.
“The voice of our employees is incredibly important; it shapes how we grow and thrive as an organization,” Coauette said. “We intentionally seek feedback throughout the year, and I’m grateful to our staff, leadership, and board for helping build a culture where those voices are heard and valued.”

Over the past year, Sourcewell has welcomed approximately 135 new employees and now includes staff in 28 states. This growth reflects the organization’s momentum and its commitment to fostering a flexible, inclusive culture that supports a multistate workforce while remaining deeply rooted in Minnesota.
