SpringMath is Now SpringMath Accelerate, Inc., Under New Ownership
Sourcewell today announced the sale of SpringMath to SpringMath Accelerate, Inc. Originally developed and launched by Dr. Amanda VanDerHeyden and TIES, an education organization assumed by Sourcewell, in 2016, SpringMath is an award-winning, schoolwide MTSS solution that currently serves 200,000 students across North America. The platform empowers both teachers and students with intuitive tools for assessment, reporting, and intervention—delivering a clear path to math mastery in just minutes a day. SpringMath Accelerate, Inc. will be led by Terri Soutor as President and CEO, with Dr. VanDerHeyden serving as Founder and Chief Product Officer. The newly formed company will focus on expanding and amplifying SpringMath’s impact to drive measurable learning outcomes for K–12 students.

SpringMath use in schools has grown tremendously over the last 5 years and generated an impressive track record improving math achievement in districts around the U.S. and Canada. In 2024-2025, students reached mastery in SpringMath over a million times. Children receiving SpringMath have half the risk of failing the year-end state test than do children not receiving SpringMath in randomized controlled trials.
