Eight suppliers awarded contracts in sweepers and equipment

This list of suppliers and contracts is, quite literally, sweeping across the nation.

Sourcewell recently announced eight suppliers have been awarded contracts in the Street Sweepers and Specialty Sweepers with Related Equipment, Accessories, and Supplies category, making their products and services available through cooperative purchasing.

These contracts offer access to equipment for street, sidewalk, parking lot, and runway sweeping and cleaning; litter, trash, and debris vacuums; and related supplies and parts.

“We couldn't be more thrilled with the results of our recently-completed RFP process for Street Sweepers and Specialty Sweepers,” says Supplier Development Supervisor Andy Campbell. “We will now offer our participating agencies the most comprehensive portfolio of sweeping solutions in the country, providing everything from airport runway sweepers to street sweepers to bicycle path and parking lot sweepers. Additionally, we have numerous all-electric sweeper options.”

Following a competitive solicitation process, Sourcewell awarded cooperative purchasing contracts offering access to these suppliers:

Truck-mounted sweepers including ES351, VT652, VS652 CNG, VT802, and RS655; V20, JHL CityFlex 205, JHL RECycler 315, and 208 Arctic compact sweepers; City Cal 5006 mid-size sweeper; JHL remote reel easement machine; and CNG chassis upgrades.

Air and mechanical sweepers; as well as specialty, waterless dust control, alternate fuel, and industrial application street sweepers.

Compact sweepers including the 48'' wide diesel 1.75 CY and electric 1.25 CY high dump; all-terrain litter vacuums including the 48'' wide diesel and electric with hydraulic or robotic arm; and gas engine, skid-mount, or trailer-mount portable litter vacuums.
