Sourcewell Ranks No. 6 Among Mid-Sized Employers on Minnesota's 2025 Top Workplace List

A decade of employee-driven excellence earns Sourcewell its 10th Top Workplace designation—and a top 10 ranking

Sourcewell, a Minnesota Service Cooperative with a large national cooperative purchasing program, is once again the only organization in Minnesota to receive the AEP Award.

Sourcewell is proud to announce that it has been named a Top Workplace in Minnesota by the Minneapolis Star Tribune, for the tenth consecutive year. At the Star Tribune's Top 200 Recognition Luncheon on June 12, Sourcewell was also honored with a No. 6 ranking out of 73 organizations in the mid-sized employer category (150-499 employees) on the 2025 Top Workplaces list.

This recognition follows the Sourcewell’s recent inclusion on the 2025 USA Today Top Workplaces list for the second year in a row.

Each year, employers have an opportunity to be recognized as a Top Workplace based solely on employee feedback gathered through a confidential survey conducted by Energage, a third-party employee engagement technology partner. The survey measures engagement, organizational health, and job satisfaction, including whether employees feel respected and supported, empowered to grow, and enabled to execute.

Sourcewell CEO Dr. Chad Coauette said this year’s recognition is a testament to Sourcewell’s commitment to fostering a work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated over the last decade.

“We’ve been intentional about creating an organizational culture where people feel supported, empowered, proud of the work they do, and the impact they make” said Sourcewell CEO Dr. Chad Coauette. “This recognition is a tribute to the dedication of our staff, leadership team, and Board of Directors who have shaped and sustained our workplace culture.”

Over the past 11 months, Sourcewell has experienced incredible and strategic growth, welcoming approximately 135 new employees. Its staff now includes team members who live in 28 states across the country.

The Star Tribune 2025 Top Workplaces list is available on the Star Tribune website (nongovernment site) and was published in a special section on Thursday, June 12.
