The People Have Spoken

Sourcewell recognized as top Minnesota employer for eighth year

With nearly 260 employees unanimously weighing in, Sourcewell has been named a Top Workplace in Minnesota by the Star Tribune for the eighth year in a row.

The annual honor is based on the results of an employee survey measuring engagement, organizational health, and job satisfaction.

Over 5,000 Minnesota public, private, and nonprofit organizations were invited to participate in the survey, and more than 124,719 employees shared their views. Because of the increase, the list was expanded from the Top 175 in 2021 to the Top 200 in 2022 and 2023.

Sourcewell Executive Director and CEO Chad Coauette said while the honor feels great, it’s what’s behind it that makes it even more impactful.

“Together, Sourcewell staff are building an organization where people truly want to work,” Coauette said. “Our award streak and continued dedication to building culture, strategy, and continuous improvement shows we’re committed for the long haul.”

The 2023 Top Workplaces list is available at the Star Tribune website and will be published in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces special section on Sunday, June 18.
